How to make healthy chicken lollipop recipe:

Ingredients used in chicken lollipop

  • Chicken wings- 10 numbers.

  • Egg-beaten - 1 number.

  • Crushed ginger & garlic - 1 tablespoon.

  • Chilli sauce - 2 teaspoons.

  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons.

  • Curry leaves - 1 spring.

  • Salt - to taste.

  • Kashmiri Chilli powder - 2 tsp

  • Turmeric powder - 1 tsp

  • Coriander powder - 1 tbsp

  • Coriander leaves (chopped) - 1/2 bunch.

  • Green chilies (chopped) - 2 numbers

  • Corn flour - 1 tablespoon

  • Capsicum - 1

  • Tomato ketchup - 1 tsp

Oil - to fry.(3-4 tbsp)Water - as required. Method: First Step Marination

  • Prepare batter-Mix in chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt (to taste) with a little water. To it add cornflour. Mix well. Add the beaten egg.

  • Place the chicken lollipop pieces into this marinade and let it be for about 1 hour.

  • Heat 3 - 4 tbsp of oil to medium heat in a non stick pan. The lollipops need to cook completely inside hence, oil should not be too hot or else outside will brown too quickly leaving the insides uncooked.

  • Roll the lollipops in the batter and drop gently into the oil and fry to a golden brown-not dark brown.


Second Step: Preparation of sauce

  • These lollipops can be served with a quick sauce made as below: In the same oil in the pan, add crushed ginger/garlic and saute it until fragrant.

  • Add curry leaves, chilli garlic sauce, soy sauce, chopped green chilies, capsicum, coriander leaves along with little water and toss in the fried lollipops and serve immediately.

# Whenever you make chicken lollipops try and ensure you eat not more than 2.

# Prepare these at an interval of at least once in 3 months at home and not on a regular basis.

# If you happen to have more than 2 lollipops ensure your next 2 meals are feather light and low on calories.
